If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d like to meet you! <br>We are seeking a Quality Control Manager<span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span><span style=\"color: rgb(200, 38, 19)\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">for our facility in Apex, NC</span><span> </span></span>that will provide Quality Management (QM) related services.  In this role, you will be involved in daily operations to plan and execute QM operations; also, in resolving complex issues to meet QM expectations<span> </span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">while assisting management with scheduling and budgets. As the QA/QC Manager, you will frequently be working with the construction crews on our job sites. </span> You will be<span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> the </span>main point of contact with internal and external individuals at all management levels, and you will be responsible for project QM successful outcomes. <br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.</li>\n<li>Manage inspector resources including third party and direct-hire quality inspectors.</li>\n<li>Provide overall project-wide oversight on quality and requirements compliance matters on QA/QC functions. Monitor construction activities and review materials and equipment delivered to the project for adherence to specifications, coordinating lists, punch list items, observations and logs.</li>\n<li>Manage company risk and understand all aspects of contract documents.</li>\n<li>Manage<span style=\"color: rgb(200, 38, 19)\"> <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">ASME/AWS/IPC/AWWA/UPC</span></span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> code related welding projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Work with preconstruction, field supervision and other teams to ensure the project is set up to support the quality management needs of the program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Establishes metrics to identify trends for inspections, non-conformances root causes and corrective/preventive actions per the ISO 9001 Quality Standard.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Ensure that Quality is maintained on site in relation to all affected </span>aspects of the project.</li>\n<li>Responsible for recognizing and implementing change orders as it relates to quality.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with clients, engineers, technicians, managers, and other project stakeholders to achieve project objectives, work with and support engineers, technicians, and other project managers across multiple disciplines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supervisory /Budgetary / External communications responsibility</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>This an individual contribution role.  The incumbent will be responsible for communicating with internal employee as well as third party companies and the IT team at EMCOR.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge, skill construction industry with a contractor engaged in general building construction.</li>\n<li>Prior experience with welding to include certification in code stamp.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques.</li>\n<li>Combination of high school diploma with QC experience and certifications will be considered.</li>\n<li>Proficient in MS-based software including Word, Excel, Outlook.</li>\n<li>Proficient with QA/QC systems, platforms, and technologies that allow for tracking, metrics and reporting.<span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> Cx Alloy, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Project Sight etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The physical demands are those of a typical construction site, including some field travel:</li>\n<li> Ability to lift 50 lbs. as
