          "text": "<p><strong>Summary:</strong> Under the direction of the Head of Commercial Strategy, this is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional or dynamic individual who wants to build a long-term career in aerospace supply chain and commercial leadership.</p><p>You’ll gain hands-on experience in RFP creation, technical requirements drafting, supplier outreach, and internal coordination while being mentored by our most experienced leaders. This role is designed to develop into an outside-facing Development Program Management role, with a long-term growth path towards leadership.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Manage technical work packages for new product development supplier selection</li><li>Own pricing updates and approvals in coordination with business unit leaders</li><li>Support long-term pricing agreements (LTA review, escalation tracking)</li><li>Conduct proactive supplier outreach to drive quoting, backlog alignment, and issue resolution</li><li>Lead follow-up on Supplier RMAs, repair quotes, and non-conforming product claims</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, operations, and contracts to resolve delivery and quality issues</li><li>Contribute to SIOP planning and backlog clean-up initiatives</li><li>Remain current on industry events affecting primary customers, suppliers, and competition</li><li>Internal liaison between departments involved at different stages of the development cycle</li><li>Support the Project Engineers and Program Managers in preparing material for customer visits</li><li>Actively manage past proposal activities and proposals currently in work</li><li>Take on special projects, as assigned</li></ul><p>In addition to the above, Strategic Sourcing Specialists are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.
