    "description": "<p><br></p>\n<p>NextGen Technologies is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Pipe Fitter/Technician to join our commercial service department in North Charleston, SC. This position focuses on the inspection, testing, maintenance, and service of wet, dry, and specialty sprinkler systems.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect, test, and maintain commercial sprinkler systems and fire pumps in accordance with applicable codes.</li>\n<li>Operate sprinkler controls, alarm panels, and critical system components.</li>\n<li>Document inspections and service reports using electronic reporting procedures.</li>\n<li>Coordinate necessary repairs with customers and team members.</li>\n<li>Respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and correct them accordingly.</li>\n<li>Provide after-hours emergency support as required on a rotated schedule.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial fire sprinkler system experience; pipe fitting skills are a plus.</li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of fire safety codes and standards.</li>\n<li>Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li>\n<li>Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces or extreme weather conditions.</li>\n<li>NICET I certification is preferred; however, we will provide support for candidates to obtain this certification.</li>\n<li>Be able to work independently and with a team.</li>\n<li>Adherence to standard safety protocols and a willingness to learn.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Benefits</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive pay based on experience.</li>\n<li>Company vehicle (with take-home privileges once cleared for independent calls).</li>\n<li>Paid continuing education, including NICET certification and exam fees.</li>\n<li>Performance and certification bonuses.</li>\n<li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.</li>\n<li>Company-paid disability and life insurance.</li>\n<li>Retirement savings plan (IRA) with company match.</li>\n<li>Paid time off, paid holidays, and an annual boot allowance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Why Join NextGen Technologies?</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>NextGen Technologies offers a family-oriented, safe and stable work environment with a consistent project backlog and a management style that values independence.
