Overview Job Title: Business Development Representative Full Time Discipline: Sales, Customer service Schedule: 36-40 hours/week, weekends required Employment Type: Permanent; Full-time Travel Required: 5% (OKC Metro areas) About the Role: Comfort Wave partners with Home Depot to provide customers with Heating and Cooling solutions, including replacements, tune-ups, and maintenance. As a Business Development Representative , you’ll engage with Home Depot customers through friendly, open conversations to identify potential needs and connect them with Comfort Wave’s services. Build and maintain relationships with Home Depot store associates and key management personnel. Educate and build awareness about the HVAC Program for Home Depot customers and store employees. Achieve specified program KPIs and goals. Attend required meetings and training courses. Qualifications Do I Have What It Takes? Applicants must be at least 18 years old in accordance with company policy. Enjoys face-to-face interaction; outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated. Ability to manage emotions when faced with rejection. Positive and optimistic attitude. Self-starter with a results-driven mindset. Active listener who asks open-ended discovery questions. Intuitive ability to gauge customer interest. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills. Ability to move conversations toward a decision and ask for appointment commitments. Able to stand and/or walk for 4–8 hours at a time. Comfortable using a smartphone for apps, email, and text.
