This role is also eligible for S&amp;C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Join Our Team as a Senior Systems Administrator!</strong></p><p>Are you passionate about system administration? Our Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for providing functional and technical support for S&amp;C’s Global on-premises and cloud server &amp; storage infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 SaaS environment. The technical knowledge desired includes Microsoft Azure technologies, Microsoft Hybrid Identity, Microsoft 365 Administration, Microsoft Cloud Security Platforms, server hardware, Windows/Linux server operating systems, VMware vSphere, and SAN technology.</p><p><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Aptos&quot;,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;line-height:107%;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></span><br><strong>Client Service</strong></p><p>• Respond to end-user calls to clarify and assist the client with problem resolution and hardware/software needs.</p><p>• Engender the confidence of clients that work will be completed at the required level of quality.</p><p>• Purchase or assist with acquiring approved hardware and software.</p><p><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><strong>Technical Support</strong></p><p>• Plan, design, and support Azure, M365 technologies (including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams), global VMware Infrastructure, Client/Server business applications, and server and storage hardware solutions.</p><p>• Follow established standard work and best practices; define new standard work as appropriate.</p><p>• Identify and correct server-related problems caused by hardware/software failures.</p><p>• Document configurations, instructions, and troubleshooting guides for Systems Administrator services and supported technologies.</p><p>• Maintain and upgrade infrastructure systems regularly.</p><p>• Investigate, provision, and deploy new technologies and solutions to support business and product growth and development.</p><p><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><strong>Project Work</strong></p><p>• Technical Lead on Infrastructure Services’ projects following S&amp;C’s established project management methodology, processes/tools.</p><p>• Support project efforts as assigned.</p><p>• Record time spent on project tasks and completed project tasks in timesheets.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Strategic Planning</strong></p><p>• Test and document system behavior, performance, and security</p><p>• Work with peers and clients to develop hardware/software standards and implementation strategies.</p><p>• Work with IT Leadership to develop financial plans and budgets based on alignment with technological innovation and industry standard advancement.</p><p><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Aptos&quot;,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;line-height:107%;\">• Create detailed architecture designs for next-generation technologies and create guidelines for enhancements based on current production deployments.&nbsp;</span></span><br><strong>What you’ll Need To Succeed:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Required&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>&nbsp;</span>A 4-year degree in Information Systems, computer-related field, or equivalent experience&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>&nbsp;</span>5 years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft Hybrid Identity (AD and Azure Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>&nbsp;</span>5 years of experience managing and supporting Windows and Linux servers and on-prem and cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure and VMware&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>Preferred&nbsp;</strong></p><p><span>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</span>• Experience in supporting a manufacturing environment&nbsp;</p><p>S&amp;C Electric is committed to equal-opportunity employment.
