The appointment is a 12-month term position, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability, and will commence on October 15, 2024.</p><p></p><p>Applicants should hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field on or before October 1, 2024. The project focuses on conducting cutting-edge research in spatial and temporal data analysis using advanced machine learning technologies. The successful candidate will become a part of an interdisciplinary team working to develop machine learning techniques for remote sensing and uncertainty estimation. Candidates must have a strong programming background.</p><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>PhD in Computer Science or a related field with a strong emphasis on machine learning.</li><li>Proficiency in using PyTorch and other machine learning libraries for developing and implementing machine learning models is essential.</li><li>Ability to prepare comprehensive written reports, including the use of text and graphics to convey information clearly.</li><li>Publication record in relevant scientific journals.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><p>Salary for the position is $65,000.
