          "text": "<p>Sr. Core Java Developer with strong Database development skills </p><p>All 8 positions are developers - A combination of <b><span>database / core Java development</span></b>. The focus is on <b><span>Core Java</span></b> (they will not work with any front end development of frameworks), <b><span>Teradata, Oracle, and Unix Programming.</span> </b></p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><p>Responsibilities will vary based on the specific project each consultants is assigned to.  Some of the general responsibilities will include </p><p>    1. Developing Java services to process dataservice requests to different Java based applications.</p><p>    2. Write complex SQL queries and Shell scripts as part of daily activities.</p><p>    3. Analyze issues and suggest technical solutions. </p><p><b>Must Haves: </b></p><p><b>Strong Oracle Development Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Needs to understand the use of <b>triggers </b></li></ul><ul><li>Needs to have <b>DDL Scripting</b> experience </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand the <b>use of internal &amp; external tables</b> </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand <b>all aggregate functions in Oracle</b> </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand how to work with Views </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand the <b>different types of sub-quarries</b> </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand the <b>different types of table partitions</b>.  </li></ul><p><b>Strong Teradata Development Experience:  </b></p><ul><li>Must have experience using Load/Unload Utilities BTEQ, Teradata SQL Assistant, Tpump, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand the different types of Indexes- advantages/dis-advantages of each. </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand stored procedures- How to utilize them </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand how to create views in tables </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to understand bulk inserts</li></ul><p><b>Strong Unix Scripting and Programming Experience:  </b></p><ul><li>Must have strong Shell Scripting/Programming, knowledge specific commands, working with command lines </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience accessing the command line arguments from the Shell Scripts </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience debugging Schell scripts </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience working with hard links and soft links?</li></ul><p><b>Core Java Development Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Experience with Multi-threading and synchronization, </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience with Abstract Classes and interfaces </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience with Strings and Arrays </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience with OOPs Concepts &amp; Patterns </li></ul><ul><li>Must understand File IO and Serialization </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience with Collections - List , Map , Set etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Must have experience with Exceptions - Checked , Unchecked</li></ul><p><b>Nice to haves: </b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of Data warehousing concept </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Data modeling</li></ul>",
