This foundational course introduces students to the principles and techniques of observational drawing, fostering both technical skill development and individual artistic expression.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver instruction in foundational drawing concepts, methods, and skills, including working from direct observation, composition, light and shadow, perspective, and various drawing media.</li>\n <li>Develop a course syllabus addendum aligned with department standards, including objectives, outcomes, and grading criteria.</li>\n <li>Hold office hours to support students outside of class.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education/Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Expertise in drawing.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with a variety of traditional drawing media.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Commitment to teaching excellence. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior teaching experience at the community college level.</li>\n <li>Experience with diverse student populations.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Application Documents</h2>Cover Letter, CV, Other, Resume, Unofficial Transcript\n<h2>Pay Rate</h2>$985 per credit hour",
