    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Afterschool Educators will oversee the daily activities associated with the afterschool program, will work closely with the afterschool coordinator and school administrators to ensure that youth are engaging in positive youth development activities. This position will be at multiple locations within Sanpete County (Manti, Ephraim, Mt. Pleasant, and Fairview). The 4-H Afterschool Program operates Monday-Thursday from 2:30PM-5:30PM.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitate daily afterschool activities in cooperation with afterschool staff, USU Faculty, and school administrators</li>\n <li>Assist in the collection of evaluation forms, keep daily attendance records, and complete program activity summaries</li>\n <li>Facilitate the implementation of quarterly 4-H Family STEM Nights</li>\n <li>Assist afterschool staff in other duties as assigned</li>\n <li>Attend mandatory staff and professional development meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be available to work during after school hours, between 2:00pm-5:30pm, as well as, at least one evening each quarter for 4-H Family STEM Night activities</li>\n <li>Must be able to work effectively with afterschool staff, USU Faculty, youth, families, and school administrators</li>\n <li>Must be able to take direction from afterschool Staff</li>\n <li>Must have reliable transportation to and from afterschool activities and meetings at the County Extension Office</li>\n <li>Must complete professional development trainings in a timely manner</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Past experience with the 4-H program is preferred</li>\n <li>Experience working with youth, families, and school administrators</li>\n <li>Spanish speaking and writing is preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Documents</h2>\n<p>Along with the online application, please attach:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Resume to be uploaded at the beginning of your application in the Candidate Profile under “Resume/CV”</li>\n <li>Answer the following during your application:\n  <ul>\n   <li>The 4-H Afterschool Program operates Monday-Thursday from 2:30PM-5:30PM. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking and standing.
