    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:</u></strong></p>\n<p>To provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests in the Langham Club Lounge and assist the Club team with the operation of the Club dining room and pantry area. The Club Lounge Food and Beverage Attendant will be fully versed on Langham and Forbes service standards.</p>\n<p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Offer a sincere and genuine welcome to all guests, be proactive and anticipatory with guest requests and needs.</li>\n <li>Review daily arrival reports and in-house guest reports. Be fully aware of VIP’s, arrival times, group/company information and special requests.</li>\n <li>Familiarization with daily events and functions, including weddings, citywide conventions, site inspections, etc.</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible shifts, including opening of the Club Lounge, mid-shifts and closing of the Club Lounge.</li>\n <li>Adhere to the Club Lounge attendant duties or the Club Lounge food service duties designated by the Club Lounge Manager and the Director of Front Office.</li>\n <li>Complete detailed check list for each shift.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all areas of the Club Lounge are always immaculate and in compliance with The Langham brand standards.</li>\n <li>Consistently inspect and monitor the quality and presentation of the food buffets.</li>\n <li>Replenish buffets and track food consumption for each shift.</li>\n <li>Inspect linen, silver, china, and other table items for cleanliness and appearance.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Responsible for dishwashing all club china, glassware, and silverware.</li>\n <li>Polish all club china, glassware, and silverware.</li>\n <li>Clear and re-set all tables in a timely manner, according to Langham and Forbes standards.</li>\n <li>Cooperate closely with other members of the Club team, including the culinary staff.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Clean the Club Lounge area and clear the Club Lounge tables during and after meal periods.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Work as part of The Langham Club team and maintain a positive team player attitude.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and organized back of the house area and butler pantry.</li>\n <li>Follow health and safety procedures.</li>\n <li>Work well in a team atmosphere and independently.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and friendly, able to work with a diverse team of people.</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in monthly departmental meetings.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be familiar with the ADA standards and ADA compliant facilities within the Club Lounge and guest rooms.</li>\n <li>Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested e.g., special guest requests.</li>\n <li>Report duty as scheduled by direct supervisor according to operating hours.</li>\n <li>Provide maximum levels of guest service while maintaining Langham Hospitality Group standards.</li>\n <li>Be fully versed in all Forbes service standards.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.</li>\n <li>Always represent the Langham Club Lounge to the highest standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>EDUCATION REQUIRED:</u></strong></p>\n<p>Any combination of education, training or experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.&nbsp; High school diploma preferred.</p>\n<p><strong><u>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</u></strong></p>\n<p>Prior Food and Beverage experience preferred.</p>\n<p><strong><u>LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:</u></strong></p>\n<p>Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.&nbsp;
