Description The Door is an unparalleled model for youth development, offering a comprehensive range of integrated services within a single site for over eleven thousand New York City youth each year. Our mission is to empower young adults to reach their full potential by providing comprehensive youth development services in a diverse and caring environment. At The Door, youth can access health care and education, mental health counseling and crisis assistance, legal assistance, college preparation services, career development, housing supports, arts, sports and recreational activities, and nutritious meals – all for free and under one roof. By providing participants with our suite of integrated services, we seek to provide any motivated young person with the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to successfully transition to adulthood. Overview: Under the supervision of the Assistant of Data & Reporting, the Data & Evaluation Manager will support the Career and Education department in maintaining the Salesforce database, generating funder reports, training staff on data governance best practices, implementing new technology solutions, and other data tasks. The Manager will act as a dedicated liaison between the Career and Education department and the Data and Program Evaluations team; actively seeking opportunities for programmatic innovation through technology and analytics. Responsibilities: Manage the data reporting portfolio for the Career and Education department; prepare data for internal performance management, funder reports and grant proposals. Establish a data driven culture within the Career and Education department; use analytics to assist Program Director(s) in developing and monitoring programmatic outcomes and strategy goals. Develop quality assurance mechanisms and documentation to ensure service delivery is in compliance with contract requirements. Ensure data is entered in an accurate and timely manner by building dashboards and other data monitoring tools; train staff on data governance best practices. Facilitate user research sessions with staff using service design methodologies; use technology to drive efficiency within the program; assist in implementing Salesforce system enhancements. Serve as the junior Salesforce system administrator for the Career and Education department. Participate as a member of a team of data specialists to build out agency-wide data standards and data model; serve as the agency expert on data related to the Career and Education team. Work with staff on the DYCD PTS system as needed. Work with the Career and Education management team to assess and address data needs. Qualifications and Requirements: 3+ years’ experience managing data in non-profit setting (for career or education related programs preferred) Experience with government and performance-based contract management for human services organizations Experience administering databases required, Salesforce experience highly preferred Experience with Business Intelligence software such as Tableau or PowerBI Advanced Excel skills Experience with the DYCD PTS is preferred Intermediate SQL skills preferred Familiarity with systems and project management Experience analyzing data related to program delivery; capable of translating complex data concepts to non-technical staff; comfortable presenting findings in meetings to advocate for programmatic improvements Ability to collaborate with staff at all technological skill levels to implement system enhancements, train on new technology solutions, and follow-up on data entry best practices Demonstrated understanding of the principles of positive youth development Ability to maintain close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment while adhering to competing deadlines Work Schedule : Fulltime, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, occasional evening and weekend hours as needed Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The Manager will act as a dedicated liaison between the Career and Education department and the Data and Program Evaluations team; actively seeking opportunities for programmatic innovation through technology and analytics.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\n\\n\\tManage the data reporting portfolio for the Career and Education department; prepare data for internal performance management, funder reports and grant proposals. \\n\\tEstablish a data driven culture within the Career and Education department; use analytics to assist Program Director(s) in developing and monitoring programmatic outcomes and strategy goals. \\n\\tDevelop quality assurance mechanisms and documentation to ensure service delivery is in compliance with contract requirements. \\n\\tEnsure data is entered in an accurate and timely manner by building dashboards and other data monitoring tools; train staff on data governance best practices.\\n\\tFacilitate user research sessions with staff using service design methodologies; use technology to drive efficiency within the program; assist in implementing Salesforce system enhancements. \\n\\tServe as the junior Salesforce system administrator for the Career and Education department. \\n\\tParticipate as a member of a team of data specialists to build out agency-wide data standards and data model; serve as the agency expert on data related to the Career and Education team.\\n\\tWork with staff on the DYCD PTS system as needed. \\n\\tWork with the Career and Education management team to assess and address data needs.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nQualifications and Requirements:\\n\\n\\n\\t3+ years&rsquo; experience managing data in non-profit setting (for career or education related programs preferred)\\n\\tExperience with government and performance-based contract management for human services organizations\\n\\tExperience administering databases required, Salesforce experience highly preferred\\n\\tExperience with Business Intelligence software such as Tableau or PowerBI \\n\\tAdvanced Excel skills\\n\\tExperience with the DYCD PTS is preferred \\n\\tIntermediate SQL skills preferred\\n\\tFamiliarity with systems and project management\\n\\tExperience analyzing data related to program delivery; capable of translating complex data concepts to non-technical staff; comfortable presenting findings in meetings to advocate for programmatic improvements\\n\\tAbility to collaborate with staff at all technological skill levels to implement system enhancements, train on new technology solutions, and follow-up on data entry best practices\\n\\tDemonstrated understanding of the principles of positive youth development\\n\\tAbility to maintain close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment while adhering to competing deadlines&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;\\n\\n\\nWork Schedule: Fulltime, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, occasional evening and weekend hours as needed\\n\\nSalary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually\\n\\nMultilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
