With more than 100 employees, engineering offices in Oslo and Trondheim, sales offices in six countries, and a diverse global customer base, Zivid is shaping the future of robotics.</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT THE ROLE</span></p>\n<p>The Zivid Motion product (<a href=\"https://www.zivid.com/zivid-motion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">zivid.com/zivid-motion</a>) is a novel global motion planning solution relying heavily on GPU acceleration and algorithm optimization for performance. The motion planner combines a 3D model of the robot cell, point clouds from our cameras and the robot kinematics and geometry, to create safe and efficient collision-free paths. As a Senior Robotics Engineer, you will work hands-on with industrial robotics automation, integration, performance optimization, user-experience, and system architecture challenges, in a team of 5-10 engineers, responsible for Zivid Motion. You will be delivering new features, supporting customer integration, testing new solutions in our simulator environment or robotics lab, and shipping our technology to customers and industries all over the world.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will also take a leading role in technical development, guiding less experienced team members, and ensuring on-time delivery. Zivid has an ambitious strategy which provides opportunity in this role to create, grow, contribute to company success, and have an impact on the automation industry.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p>This position offers varied and challenging tasks across robotics, software, simulation, and vision. Your tasks will include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop new solutions to previously unsolved robotics and automation challenges, expanding our robotics offering.</li>\n<li>Act as a technical leader within the team – driving architectural and algorithmic decisions, setting engineering standards, mentoring less experienced engineers, and contributing to overall code quality through reviews and collaboration.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Camera and Vision Engineering teams on integrated robotics solutions.</li>\n<li>Design and develop new simulation and test solutions, ensuring industry-grade deployments.</li>\n<li>Work with customers and our Product team to understand cell designs and solution requirements, and to support integration of Zivid Motion.</li>\n<li>Further optimize and improve our existing motion planning solutions to support the demands of a fast-growing market.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who fits our team’s passion for problem solving and new technology, using their analytical skills with a solution-oriented attitude to deliver as a team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>To be considered, you should have at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in industrial robotics deployments and strong proficiency in C++ programming. You should also have a M. Sc. or B.
