You'll serve as the main point of contact for our customers' security services. As a trusted advisor, you'll deliver service excellence and help customers strengthen their security posture. You'll also solve complex challenges to ensure the successful integration of Akamai's security solutions.</p><p>As a Security Consultant II, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Leading implementations of Akamai security solutions based on customer needs and business goals</li><li class=\"lst\">Applying technical expertise and project management to ensure successful outcomes</li><li class=\"lst\">Collaborating across teams to assess needs, evaluate architecture, and design security solutions</li><li class=\"lst\">Maintaining trusted relationships through guidance, communication, and security best practices</li><li class=\"lst\">Partnering with security experts to solve advanced technical challenges during implementations</li><li class=\"lst\">Identifying risks, building mitigation plans, and escalating issues to ensure resolution</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have experience in web security or supporting security projects</li><li class=\"lst\">Know internet technologies and protocols like HTTP, DNS, IP, TLS and TCP</li><li class=\"lst\">Understand modern web attacks and web application security risks</li><li class=\"lst\">Be familiar with WAF, bot management tools and OWASP Top 10</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate project management skills and deliver complex technical projects</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience working in a customer-facing IT role</li><li class=\"lst\">Communicate effectively in Italian and English</li><li class=\"lst\">Be a team player who is proactive, curious, and eager to learn</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
