You’ll support site security, daily maintenance, and uphold high health and safety standards while promoting the welfare of all pupils and staff.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:</span> £12,480 a year (based on £8 an hour), <em>salary increase after the first year, provided you are 19+</em></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours: </span>30 hours per week</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duration: </span>12 months</li>\n<li>Level 2 Facilities Operative Apprenticeship standard qualification</li>\n<li>Online training and support by our dedicated tutors</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Address:</span> Mill Lane, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, EN8 0JU</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Site security.  To lock/unlock the site as required.  To ensure that the perimeter is secure and that the access gates are locked/unlocked as necessary.</li>\n<li>Cleaning.  To deal with any spills, leaks, unexpected areas of cleaning as they arise ensuring that the correct chemicals are used and signage put in place when necessary.</li>\n<li>To empty bins, litter pick and sweep to maintain a clean site internally and externally.</li>\n<li>To undertake minor repairs as capable and directed.</li>\n<li>To undertake more major projects in the school holidays including, but not limited to, decorating and more time consuming tasks.</li>\n<li>To distribute deliveries around the school.</li>\n<li>Undertake regular checks and clean the minibuses.  Ensure that services take place on a regular basis.</li>\n<li>To support to maintain Health and Safety records.</li>\n<li>To attend relevant training courses as required.</li>\n<li>To participate in marketing and liaison activities such as open evening and liaison events with schools and community organisations.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail</li>\n<li>Organisation skills</li>\n<li>Customer care skills</li>\n<li>Problem solving skills</li>\n<li>Logical</li>\n<li>Team working</li>\n<li>Initiative</li>\n<li>Non judgemental</li>\n<li>Patience</li>\n<li>Physical fitness</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Training and Development:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As an apprentice, you will receive structured training alongside practical, on-the-job experience.
