In this role, you will help design and deliver innovative power distribution and monitoring solutions used across a wide range of global markets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to bring ideas from concept through production, while helping guide and support fellow engineers through mentorship and shared problem-solving.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and systems for customizable power distribution solutions.</li>\n <li>Apply analytical and systems-based thinking to concept development, design, testing, and refinement.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to support successful product commercialization.</li>\n <li>Contribute to customer-specific customizations and ensure designs meet performance, quality, and compliance requirements.</li>\n <li>Support product testing, system integration, and certification efforts with agencies such as UL and Intertek.</li>\n <li>Review and provide constructive feedback on designs created by engineers and drafters.</li>\n <li>Mentor and support other engineers through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.</li>\n <li>Participate in team-based improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 4-7 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar.</li>\n <li>Experience designing mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD tools.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you do not meet every qualification listed above, we still encourage you to apply. We value diverse experiences and are committed to supporting growth and development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with thermal or mechanical simulation, GD&T, DFM, material selection, and manufacturing processes.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with applicable regulatory and agency standards.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to share ideas clearly and collaborate across disciplines.</li>\n <li>Experience contributing to or leading project-based work.</li>\n <li>Interest in mentoring, learning, and continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Comfort using Microsoft Office and related productivity tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is primarily based in an office environment with occasional time spent in manufacturing areas. Appropriate personal protective equipment is provided when required.
