We are seeking dynamic professionals who embody our core values of Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence to join our growing Crew in support of our customers across the federal, state, and commercial markets.</p><p>We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.</p><p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with a team to provide high quality, innovative system administration services to the Government customer.</li><li>Work with a team to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions.</li><li>Ensure daily system monitoring, system backup and restoral, and application upgrades to ensure optimal and continuous system operations.</li><li>Be responsible for ensuring system software installations, maintenance, break/fix activities, and cyber security mitigations are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements.</li><li>Coordinate with hardware and software vendors and participate in all vendor-required activities, such as quarterly infrastructure reviews.</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will:</p><ul><li>Have a firm understanding of Windows and Linux (Rel 8) operating systems.</li><li>Have excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with various members of the team and stakeholders.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><p><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience<ul><li>May be reduced with completion of advanced education</li></ul></li><li>Must have 5, or more, years of directly related/specialized experience in a computer operations environment performing systems administration of either Windows or Linux Systems</li><li>Must have experience working with virtual environments.</li><li>Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+).</li><li>Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Have experience administering a Red Hat Linux environment using Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) Servers.</li><li>Have experience managing Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.</li><li>Have experience conducting log analysis to assess root cause analysis.</li><li>Have comprehensive knowledge of Virtualization infrastructure.</li><li>Have DoD networking experience with classified data networks and strong grasp of red/black concepts and IA compliance.</li><li>Desirable Certifications CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Network+, RHCSA and knowledge in Juniper Networks.</li></ul><p><strong>Why LaunchTech?</strong></p><p>LaunchTech is built on a single standard: Excellence, Period.
