Maintains sterilization records for all processes.</li>\n <li>Assembles surgical instruments, surgical instrument trays, and surgical packs including documentation.</li>\n <li>Receives, issues, stores, and distributes surgical supplies with accurate documentation.</li>\n <li>Assures proper storage of sterile supplies and equipment using first in first out rotation and periodic outdating.</li>\n <li>Assembles surgical case carts accurately and in a timely manner giving priority to emergency and next day cases.</li>\n <li>Fills surgery supply and instrument order requests as received from other areas.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.</li>\n <li>Maintains surgery inventory supply levels.</li>\n <li>Properly sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions for use.</li>\n <li>Delivers high quality care demonstrating knowledge and skills of the sterile processing specialty in accordance with established guidelines, policies, procedures and standards of care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Graduate or GED equivalent.</li>\n <li>Central Service/Materials management course preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous sterile processing or surgical services experience preferred.</li>\n <li>CRCST certification preferred or eligible to test for.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to learn and manage multiple tasks and to learn basic computer skills.</li>\n <li>Must read, write, speak and comprehend English fluently.</li>\n</ul>",
