With over 40 hotels and residences in operation or development, LHG has a global footprint that extends across Asia, Europe, North America, Australasia and the Middle East.\n</div>\n<div>\n <br><strong>The Langham, Boston</strong> is one of the city’s most historic hotels and one of the most iconic luxury hotels in the US. <span>You will be working with a passionate &amp; talented housekeeping team to drive excellence in cleanliness and wellness and the overall success of Housekeeping and Laundry Department, by delivering high standards in guest experience &amp; colleague engagement in alignment with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.</span>\n</div>\n<p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Conduct the sorting of soiled linen, stain treatment, washing/drying, ironing and folding of bed linen, terry and restaurant linen;</span></li>\n <li><span>Stack and organize processed laundry to be easily moved to guest floors/storage areas;</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform daily preventive waxing and lint cleaning of equipment;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain all laundry equipment in good working order and inform Laundry Supervisor, Housekeeping Management or Engineering team of any maintenance needs;</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist with tracking poundage;</span></li>\n <li><span>Monitor and maintain the orderly and clean condition of the Laundry room and ensure security and safety of all hotel property;</span></li>\n <li><span>Help identify substandard or damaged items, assist with treatment, and discard with approval of The Laundry Supervisor;</span></li>\n <li><span>Report all shortages, damages, and linen availability to The Laundry Supervisor or Housekeeping Management.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain safe work environment in the Laundry room. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations;</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform additional laundry services when necessary;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain positive relations with fellow Laundry attendants and the rest of Housekeeping team;</span></li>\n <li><span>Help conduct linen inventories as coordinated by Housekeeping management;</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide service with poise. Greet all colleagues with a smile and according to Langham service standards;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain proper and safe usage of cleaning chemicals and solutions.
