The ideal candidate has a strong general ledger accounting background for a global manufacturing organization, experience analyzing technical accounting issues, with proven team management skills and a continuous improvement mindset.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and mentor GL Accountants</li>\n <li>Lead month-end closing activities, including preparation and review responsibilities for journal entries and reconciliations.</li>\n <li>Administrator and subject matter expert for Blackline.  Execute on increasing use and functionality at corporate and additional site. </li>\n <li>Support Finance Reporting Manager with the preparation of global consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, including GAAP P&L, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows</li>\n <li>Lead preparation of annual financial statement and footnotes.</li>\n <li>Subject matter expert level knowledge of systems impacting or used in financial reporting, including Epicor (ERP) and NetSuite.</li>\n <li>Ensure control and oversight of the Company’s Global chart of accounts including alignment with global sites.</li>\n <li>Assist in developing and implementing process and system improvements for processes impacting GAAP financial reporting and the accounting function.</li>\n <li>Oversight of global fixed asset maintenance and reporting using Sage Fixed Assets.</li>\n <li>Ownership and completion of revenue recognition process for percentage of completion process, as well as gain a thorough understanding of global revenue recognition processes for various sites and segments.</li>\n <li>Oversight and technical accounting point of contact for the global leases.</li>\n <li>Oversight  and reconciliation of statutory financial reporting in local GAAP, including how adjustments reconcile within our NetSuite consolidation system.</li>\n <li>Ad hoc technical accounting analysis and the ability to identify technical items and escalate appropriately.</li>\n <li>Partner with external auditors during interim and year-end audits.</li>\n <li>Support various ongoing projects throughout the year.  Management of team executing on projects to provide quality, on time results.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>7+ years of general ledger accounting experience with 3+ years of management experience.</li>\n <li>Batchelor’s degree in Accounting required.</li>\n <li>CPA license preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate both orally and written in a clear, concise, and professional manner.</li>\n <li>Team player with the ability to multi-task between priorities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a professional, fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li>\n <li>Blackline experience a must.</li>\n <li>Advanced excel and other reporting tool capabilities.</li>\n <li>Experience working in a global manufacturing industry.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented, analytical and deadline driven.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working in ERP systems, Epicor a plus.</li>\n <li>NetSuite reporting experience strongly preferred.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Light office work</li>\n <li>Hybrid working environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
