This position ensures a smooth supply chain, maintaining inventory levels, and managing the receiving and distribution of goods to meet F&amp;B service standards.</p><p></p><p>The Food &amp; Beverage Purchasing and Receiving Manager is integral in maintaining the supply chain, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely availability of F&amp;B products. This role demands a detail-oriented, strategic thinker capable of effective communication, resource management, and personnel leadership to uphold operational excellence at the resort.</p><p></p><h1><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES </b></h1><p></p><p><b><u>Procurement and Vendor Management:</u></b></p><ul><li>Maintain strong vendor relationships in engaging with approved vendors for par level purchasing.</li><li>Maintain ordering of par systems in agreement with F&amp;B leadership team.</li><li>Weekly management of pars review with F&amp;B leadership team.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Inventory and Ordering Management</u></b></p><ul><li>Implement and maintain inventory management systems to maintain stock par levels, delivery and receiving schedules.</li><li>Forecast demand, monitor stock levels, and adjust purchasing strategies for efficient inventory control.</li><li>Oversee the receiving and inspection of all incoming F&amp;B goods, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with set standards and procedures, including the food safety program.</li><li>Coordinate the efficient distribution of products to various resort departments while ensuring proper handling and storage protocols, including tracking documentation in the flow of food.</li><li>Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures through regular inspections and immediate resolution of non-compliance issues, including but not limited to, an expiration list, food safety documentation, and corporate safety requirements.</li><li>Supervising and entering transfers, waste sheets, and internal/external requisitions, including entering invoices for purchases made to manage par levels.</li><li>Updating inventory templates and supervising physical inventory.</li><li>Conduct training sessions to ensure staff awareness of best practices, including FOODTRAK.</li><li>Responsible for the transfer of monthly information, such as inventory counts.</li><li>Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and cost analyses to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Analyze data to make informed decisions, improve processes, and support strategic planning.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Budgeting and Cost Control</u></b></p><ul><li>Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and propose cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.</li><li>Manage purchasing based on budget expectations set by F&amp;B leadership and the budget access allowed.</li></ul><p><b><u>Staffing</u></b></p><ul><li>Hold daily standup meetings with purchasing and receiving team.</li><li>Attend weekly F&amp;B leadership meetings to present updates on purchasing, shipping, and receiving.</li><li>Manage all staff labor schedules, posted two weeks out, and timekeeping daily.</li><li>Present employee opportunities and successes to F&amp;B leadership team for support with HR and growth.</li><li>Maintain all training requirements for staff, including but not limited to, food and beverage safety certifications and work with HR to upload into the employee’s Workday profile.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS      </b>                                       </p><ul><li>Proven experience in F&amp;B procurement, inventory management, and logistics within the hospitality or F&amp;B industry.</li><li>Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with vendor delivery and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Proficiency in inventory management software and tools for data analysis, such as Food Trak.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality control standards, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.</li><li>Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across all levels of the organization.</li><li>Able to make independent judgments which have considerable impacts on the organization.</li><li>Advanced user with Microsoft Office suite.</li><li>Microsoft D365 experience preferred.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE  </b></p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED, with at least 1 year experience in Food and Beverage.</li><li>The combination of education and experience may be combined to satisfy educational requirements.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a similar role.</li><li>Experience in hospitality, travel, or experiential brand is strongly preferred.</li><li>Must possess strong food safety knowledge and demonstrate ability and desire to promote all food handling guidelines as dictated by Washington State law.</li><li>This position is required to have a valid driver&#39;s license.</li><li>Must have a valid Washington State Food Handlers card.</li><li>Must be able to lift 50&#43;
