Description Job Description: Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Signal Integrity Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Signal Integrity Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our high-speed digital and RF circuits. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate, simulate, and validate signal integrity solutions for our cutting-edge products. Responsibilities: - Analyze high-speed digital and RF circuits to ensure signal integrity. - Perform signal integrity simulations using industry-standard tools such as Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS. - Collaborate with hardware design teams to optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity. - Conduct pre- and post-layout signal integrity analysis and provide design recommendations. - Develop and execute test plans for signal integrity validation. - Troubleshoot and resolve signal integrity issues in prototype and production hardware. - Document signal integrity analysis and validation results. Requirements: - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in signal integrity engineering, with a focus on high-speed digital and RF circuits. - Proficiency in using Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS for signal integrity simulations. - Strong understanding of signal integrity principles, including transmission line theory, crosstalk, and electromagnetic interference (EMI). - Experience with PCB layout tools and design for signal integrity. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with other signal integrity tools and methodologies. - Knowledge of high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet). - Familiarity with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and testing. - Understanding of scripting languages such as Python or TCK/TK. The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $92,300- $112,800 annually, plus RSUs. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience. All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
