Weekend rounding (Saturdays and Sundays)</li>\n <li><strong>Work Location: </strong>  UAB STV Birmingham:  810 St Vincent's Drive, Birmingham Alabama 35205</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<p>Provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.</li>\n <li>Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.</li>\n <li>Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.</li>\n <li>Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Credential(s):</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date</li>\n <li> BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n <li>Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
