In this role, you’ll create a safe, encouraging space where students build literacy and math skills, develop social-emotional confidence, and grow alongside volunteer mentors. You’ll also work closely with families, schools, and staff to ensure each child gets the tailored support they need to thrive—inside and outside the classroom.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">As Site Director, you’ll lead the daily operations of your afterschool site and create an environment where students, families, and volunteers all feel empowered to succeed.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Lead afterschool academic sessions focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional growth.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with LaAmistad’s Academic Director to plan and adapt learning activities based on individual student needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monitor and report student progress using assessments, report cards, and school-provided data.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate regularly with parents, schools, volunteers, and program leadership regarding student development and site updates.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Train, supervise, and support volunteer tutors and program assistants.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain site safety by enforcing emergency protocols and child protection policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
