About Circular Services: Circular Services is a leading developer and operator of circular economy infrastructure and services and the largest private recycling company in the U.S. with operations across the country. About the Role: Circular Services is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to help build and operationalize its legal function. It is a hands-on legal operations and contract management role with significant ownership and visibility. This individual will partner closely with the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and Assistant General Counsel, supporting commercial transactions, entity management, and governance. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, detail-oriented, and confident working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is based in New York, NY and requires regular in-office presence. Work with and be a resource for business stakeholders to review and negotiate contracts to timely execution. Manage legal entity structures, registrations, annual filings, and corporate governance documentation. Manage contract management system, legal entity management system, and outside counsel legal billing and matter management system. Manage and assist with risk and compliance matters. Collaborate with the Chief Legal Officer, Assistant GC, executive team and cross-functional teams to identify legal risks, proposing new solutions and processes that align with the company's overall mission and growth trajectory and drive operational excellence and efficiency, blending paralegal expertise with business acumen. Minimum Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification strongly preferred. 5+ years of paralegal experience, ideally with significant exposure to commercial contracts and legal operations. Demonstrated success managing contracts & agreements, insurance litigation, policies and procedures, entity and matter management, data and reporting Highly analytical, with sharp attention to detail Exceptional communication, coaching, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal clients and other stakeholders Extremely high level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal oversight. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth and improving organizational processes Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards Substantial knowledge and experience designing and working with databases, working with Ironclad or similar CLM, Legal Tracker or similar billing and matter management software, CSC or similar legal entity management and SOP software, Ramp, and MS Office.
