    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>BayCare Medical Group (BMG) </strong>is a physician-led medical group seeking <strong>three Physician Assistant (PA)</strong> or <strong>Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Night Floats</strong> to join our <strong>well-established Adult & Pediatric Neurosurgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital, </strong>a 465-bed Level II trauma hospital located in <strong>beautiful Tampa, Florida.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The current team consists of <strong>four experienced Board-Certified Neurosurgeons</strong> who specialize in treating all surgical cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve pathology and supported by three advanced practice providers. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a rapidly growing neurosurgery practice across the greater Tampa Bay region. The ideal candidate is <strong>team-oriented, adaptable, and compassionate </strong>with a desire to grow within a high-volume, high-acuity specialty.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Night float position with a primary focus on inpatient neurosurgery coverage.</li>\n <li>Provide overnight support for neurosurgical patients, including new consults, admissions, and cross-coverage.</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with on-call neurosurgeons to ensure timely evaluation and management of acute patient needs.</li>\n <li>Assist with inpatient care coordination and continuity of care during transitions between day and night teams.</li>\n <li>Participate in weekend coverage as part of the overall night float rotation.</li>\n <li>Function as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality neurosurgical care</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The candidate must have experience in an acute care setting.</li>\n <li><strong>Required experience in neurosurgery.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Acute Care certification</strong> is required.</li>\n <li>DEA required or ability to obtain.</li>\n <li>Passion for learning and strong interest in working in neurosurgery.</li>\n <li>Board certified and ability to obtain a Florida license.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>BayCare Medical Group offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to attract and retain top talent.
