Works with departments to understand user requirements.</li>\n <li>Proposes technical solutions.</li>\n <li>Gathers information and provides estimates for project completion.</li>\n <li>Contacts and manages relations with outside contractors for project completion.</li>\n <li>Coordinates project from proposal stage through installation.</li>\n <li>Assists in entire planning and execution of project, with external and internal groups, from the smallest details through reviews, changes and monitoring of progress to project completion and evaluation.</li>\n <li>Stays abreast of future trends in technology; reads technical periodicals and publications, consults with manufactures and vendors, attends trade shows and seminars, tests equipment, etc. and makes recommendations.</li>\n <li>Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development.</li>\n <li>Attends educational in-services as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.</li>\n <li>Collects, organizes, and analyzes data to generate and provide accurate and complete reports for management.</li>\n <li>Assists with creating, implementing, and maintaining documentation for standards and procedures related to technical and business requirements.</li>\n <li>Produces reports from databases related to standards, policies, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Assists in the review and/or implementation of any necessary changes in standards and procedures.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five (5) years of experience in implementing technical requirements to support business applications; OR a Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of experience; OR Masters Degree and two (2) years of experience.</li>\n <li>Internal candidates with relevant certifications &/or successful graduation from an Emory sponsored development program may be considered with references and demonstrated mastery of project management. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (MediumMax 25lbs): up to 25 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 25 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required.
