The Racker works in the finishing stage of the production line and is responsible for loading product into and out of the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) vacuum coating machines for processing.</p><p>Duties of the position include the following:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Learning fixturing techniques for proper PVD processing</li><li>Product handling, including properly fixturing onto racks</li></ul><ul><li>Selecting racks according to size, shape, and number of parts to be processed</li><li>Properly placing parts on racks</li><li>Racking and un-racking parts per work order</li><li>Visually inspecting parts to verify finish complies to specifications</li><li>Using extreme caution with customer product and tooling to avoid damage</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Loading and unloading fixtured components from the coating machine to maintain production flow</li></ul><ul><li>Maintaining traceability of customer property</li><li>Completing paperwork/tags</li><li>Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations</li><li>Performing additional assignments per supervisor&#39;s direction</li></ul><p><em>Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
