This multi-platform role calls for a strong storyteller who can enterprise and break impactful stories in Northern Virginia.&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities </u></strong></p><ul><li>Enterprise news stories in Northern Virginia</li><li>Shoot, write and edit newsworthy events including breaking/spot news, general news, sports and feature stories relevant to the Northern Virginia community</li><li>Gather, write and produce material in fair, accurate and balanced manner</li><li>Field produce, conduct interviews and shoot stories</li><li>Present stories live on air partnering with photographers and as a single person MMJ</li><li>Provide news on-air and on other platforms as assigned from studio and field locations</li><li>Establish and maintain solid sources to gain access to exclusive local news stories &#xa0;</li><li>Active community involvement</li><li>Create web content that complements the station website, mobile apps and social media platforms</li><li>Work closely with Producers, News Managers and Assignment Editors, as well as Reporters and Anchors</li><li>Develop and pitch story ideas</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>#LI-onsite</strong></p>",
