This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with access control systems and alarm  .</li>\n <li>Experience with report writing and note-taking.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.</li>\n <li>Valid <strong>Ontario security guard license </strong></li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada <strong>for 40  hours per week.</strong></li>\n <li>Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions</strong><strong> :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor and control access to the facility/store area.</li>\n <li>Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly presence at all times.</li>\n <li>Handle conflicts, incidents, and difficult situations using effective de-escalation skills.</li>\n <li>Conduct indoor and outdoor patrols while following site protocols and post orders, including monitoring customer and guest movement throughout the property.</li>\n <li>Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed during fire alarms and other site emergencies.</li>\n <li>Complete all site-specific training and follow guidance provided by the Site Supervisor or Manager.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and decision-making skills during emergencies and incidents.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records, complete incident reports, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.</li>\n <li>Operate and monitor security systems, CCTV equipment, and complete all required training programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
