Ensures guest rooms and common areas are clean and inviting at all times.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong> include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br />\r\n• Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms<br />\r\n• Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures<br />\r\n• Distributes linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand<br />\r\n• Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar<br />\r\n• Replaces dirty linens with clean items<br />\r\n• Inspect and turn mattresses regularly<br />\r\n• Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy<br />\r\n• Monitor guest laundry bags<br />\r\n• Replace laundry bags and slips<br />\r\n• Check all appliances in rooms are in working order<br />\r\n• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout<br />\r\n• Respond to guest queries and requests<br />\r\n• Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses<br />\r\n• Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms<br />\r\n• Remove room service items<br />\r\n• Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift<br />\r\n• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms<br />\r\n• Follow all company safety and security procedures<br />\r\n• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards<br />\r\n• Observe and report damage of hotel property<br />\r\n• Work as a team player with other team members and management in accomplishing work assignments<br />\r\n• Must provide a safe and clean environment at all times<br />\r\n• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>*Essential Function</strong><br />\r\n• Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude with guests, families, team members, vendors and management</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong><br />\r\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
