We have over 2 million patient visits annually and research grants exceeding $350 million.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Submit your application online at employment.utah.edu </li>\n <li>Upload most recent up dated resume with work history and experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>supply chain</p>\n<p>#supplychain</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3>Essential Functions</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Supports response to product recall notices.</li>\n <li>Orders, receives and oversees the ordering and receipt of materials, equipment, stock and supplies for the organization.</li>\n <li>Uses the department's computer system to maintain verification of all transactions.</li>\n <li>Maintains a record of stock received and issued to departments.</li>\n <li>Inspects and verifies that received stock meets specifications and that orders are complete.</li>\n <li>Resolves order problems with vendors and departments, as necessary.</li>\n <li>Stores articles by style, size, material, etc. according to departmental procedures.</li>\n <li>Rotates supplies to ensure that items do not expire before use.</li>\n <li>Delivers goods to the appropriate areas on a routine or STAT basis.</li>\n <li>Maintains a clean, sanitary and orderly storeroom.</li>\n <li>Performs various clerical duties such as data entry of requisitions and receipts and answering phones.</li>\n <li>Answers staff questions regarding storeroom activities, as required, to ensure that quality service is delivered.</li>\n <li>Documents patient charges for equipment use and specialty cart supplies.</li>\n <li>Cleans and sanitizes patient use equipment using industry standard cleaning products and techniques.</li>\n <li>Maintains acceptable scores for ATP surface testing for infection control.</li>\n <li>Ensures that safety inspections, preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment are completed prior to scheduled expiration dates.</li>\n <li>Delivers clean linen to various hospital and clinic locations following a predetermined par level.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties, as assigned.</li>\n <li>May oversee the delivery or distribution of goods by filling requisitions and comparing nomenclature, stock numbers, etc.</li>\n <li>May handle the packaging and shipping of packages.</li>\n <li>May make decisions regarding the physical layout of the storeroom.</li>\n <li>May assist in the counting, sorting and folding of linen.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Knowledge / Skills / Abilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlined above.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated understanding of equipment processing sanitation techniques.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated human relations and effective communications skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of standard warehousing.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated computer literacy, mathematical and problem solving skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Required</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Six (6) months of customer service, shipping and receiving or stock room experience, or the equivalency.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications (Preferred)</h2>\n<h4>Preferred</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid, current Utah driver's license with proof of insurability.</li>\n <li>Completion of a medical terminology course within one (1) year of employment.</li>\n <li>Previous experience in storeroom supervision and employee leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Working Conditions and Physical Demands</h3>\n<p><em>Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position involves intermediate work that may exert up to 50 pounds and may consistently require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects while providing assistance to patients.
