With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p><strong>Role Description</strong>:</p>\n<p>Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated <strong>Senior Estimator&nbsp;</strong>to support one of the <strong>most iconic and consequential infrastructure initiatives in the United States</strong> — the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). <strong>In this role, you will play a key part in scoping and estimating costs across various aspects of the program, ensuring accurate and reliable projections to support successful project execution.</strong></p>\n<p>We are working as the Delivery Partner along with team members and selected by the Gateway Development Commission to deliver this transformative project. The HTP is a critical component of the broader Gateway Program <strong>— one of the most ambitious and impactful transportation initiatives in the nation</strong> — and is designed to strengthen mobility, enhance resiliency, and ensure the long-term reliability of the Northeast Corridor.</p>\n<p>The project encompasses the construction of a new, two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River, along with the full rehabilitation of the existing 113-year-old North River Tunnel. This vital infrastructure supports more than 200,000 daily passengers via Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT and serves as a backbone for economic activity and connectivity between New York and New Jersey.</p>\n<p>This is more than just a job — <strong>it’s a once-in-a-generation opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant infrastructure program</strong> that will reshape rail transportation, drive sustainable economic growth, and improve regional accessibility for millions. As part of this high-performing, multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver excellence on one of the most technically complex and high-profile projects in the world.</p>\n<p>If you're seeking to make a meaningful, lasting impact — while advancing your career alongside some of the best minds in the industry — <strong>this is your moment</strong>.</p>\n<p><strong>Role Accountabilities</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the development of detailed cost estimates across all project phases (conceptual, preliminary, and final design).</li>\n <li>Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documents to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and pricing.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand project scope and cost drivers.</li>\n <li>Prepare cost breakdowns for civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, communications, signal, and track systems.</li>\n <li>Ensure all estimates are compliant with industry standards, client requirements, and relevant regulations.</li>\n <li>Perform risk and uncertainty analyses to develop contingencies and evaluate potential cost impacts.</li>\n <li>Review contractor bids and change orders to support negotiation and procurement processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>10 years of experience estimating complex infrastructure or tunnel projects.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills and Abilities</strong>:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in cost estimating methodologies and techniques related to construction.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of New York City construction trade unions rates and rules.</li>\n <li>Experience in preparing detailed cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), civil, structural, or architectural construction projects.</li>\n <li>Strong ability to produce high-quality materials within tight timeframes and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
