The Senior Software Developer II is a trusted technical leader and go-to resource for solving complex problems, ensuring product quality, scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability. The role also includes mentoring other developers and helping establish technical standards and best practices that scale across teams and products. Mobile application experience (iOS and/or Android) is strongly preferred.</span></p><p><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms&nbsp;</li><li>Work with the team, product management, and customers to design scalable and maintainable products customers love&nbsp;</li><li>Provide architectural guidance and influence technical direction for mobile applications and related systems&nbsp;</li><li>Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following established coding standards and best practices&nbsp;</li><li>Champion clean code principles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and sound architecture&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback&nbsp;</li><li>Mentor and coach other developers, raising overall team technical capability and consistency&nbsp;</li><li>Act as a technical go-to resource for complex problems and critical issues&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, QA, and other engineering teams&nbsp;</li><li>Accurately estimate work effort and help break down complex initiatives into executable plans&nbsp;</li><li>Participate actively in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts&nbsp;</li><li>Work with QA to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects and quality issues&nbsp;</li><li>Stay current with mobile development trends, tools, and platform advancements</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Significant professional software development experience, including senior-level responsibilities&nbsp;</li><li>Strong experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android&nbsp;</li><li>Mastery of at least one primary development language such as Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, or C#&nbsp;</li><li>Deep understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices&nbsp;</li><li>Proven ability to design simple, elegant solutions to complex technical problems&nbsp;</li><li>Extensive experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs&nbsp;</li><li>Solid understanding of common data formats and architectural patterns (e.g., JSON, XML, MVC/MVVM)&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions with speed without sacrificing quality&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working in an agile / Scrum development environment&nbsp;</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in an office environment with reasonable accommodation&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering</li><li>Effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed, including code generation, refactoring, testing, and analysis&nbsp;</li><li>iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Objective-C&nbsp;</li><li>Cross-platform mobile development experience&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build systems&nbsp;</li><li>Strong testing mindset, including unit and integration testing&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with mobile backend integrations and cloud services&nbsp;</li><li>Experience defining or influencing mobile architecture standards&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated technical leadership through mentoring, technical ownership, or process improvement</li></ul>",
