In this role, you'll help strengthen families by promoting positive father-child engagement and healthy family outcomes through the delivery of evidence-based parenting curriculum. </p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide group education and skill-building activities to program participants and community members.</li>\n <li>Implement identified evidence-based curriculum(s) and education models with fidelity</li>\n <li>Schedule, plan, promote and implement workshops and other required activities</li>\n <li>Lead outreach/in-reach activities within VCC and the community to recruit program participants</li>\n <li>Sustain and/or build community partnerships to advance program activities </li>\n <li>Work collaboratively with program staff to assist enrolled program participants</li>\n <li>Maintain ongoing contact with program participants to build trusting relationships</li>\n <li>Demonstrate familiarity with VCC programs and services</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain a calendar of educational sessions</li>\n <li>Follow program protocols and complete program documents and reports</li>\n <li>Participate in internal and other program meetings as scheduled</li>\n <li>Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature review, in-service meetings and workshops</li>\n <li>Support the vision, mission and goals, and demonstrate a commitment to the values, of the organization</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as directed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h3>Minimum</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Bilingual in Spanish/English</strong></li>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Minimum of four years of experience in community education</li>\n <li>Valid California driver’s license, current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation to travel between sites for meetings and/or to gather information for reporting purposes</li>\n <li>Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Preferred</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in related field or associates degree with minimum two years of experience in community education</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to present information accurately and effectively both orally and in writing to individuals and groups</li>\n <li>Good verbal and written skills necessary for communication with patients/clients, providers and other staff</li>\n <li>Ability to handle confidential materials and information in a professional manner</li>\n <li>Basic computer knowledge, Internet use, MS Office and Excel, data entry</li>\n <li>Work independently, take initiative, and be proactive</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze, prioritize and meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Ability to track and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Ability to plan and facilitate internal and community meetings</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>$22.50 - $24.00 Depending On Experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
