    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization.  We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span></p>\n<p>We currently have an opening for an Math Teacher.   </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">POSITION GOAL</span></p>\n<p>To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary or secondary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Develops schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Provide appropriate feedback on work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations.</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">IEP’s, TALID, Report Cards, </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span><span>Prepare required reports on students and activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Participate in program, school, district, and parent meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Prepare classroom for class activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Observe and evaluate student's performance and development.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Establish Restorative Circles and implement the theory behind Restorative Practices in the classroom daily.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Cohesively work with Instructional Assistant on academic and behavioral charting, establishing classroom rules, enforcing the TALID System.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Encourage parent and community involvement, obtain information for parents when requested, promptly return phone calls and answer emails.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Participate in appropriate professional activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations as directed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">B.A/B.S degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field teaching</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Pennsylvania certification/private certification in teaching in appropriate subject area</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, and state</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Basic computer literacy</span><span style=\"font-size:
