Chrysalis in Eureka, MT is seeking compassionate and skilled nurses to provide exceptional care to our students! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At our therapeutic boarding school, you'll be the compassionate first responder when a student reports pain or sickness, assessing their needs and determining the best care plan. Your day will include checking vital signs, distributing medications, and keeping meticulous records. Whether accompanying a student to the clinic, communicating with parents/guardians, or coordinating lab draws, you'll be their advocate, creating a safe and healing environment. Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference in their lives and to create joy and heal generations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We're dedicated to reducing adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide rates. At Chrysalis, you'll find a supportive environment where empathy, trust, and service are paramount.</strong> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess and respond to students' reports of pain or sickness</li>\n <li>Determine the need for sick bed placement</li>\n <li>Accompany students to clinics and communicate with parents and the leadership team</li>\n <li>Check vital signs, disperse medications, and maintain accurate records</li>\n <li>Monitor and chart students' mood, behavior, and affect</li>\n <li>Correlate lab draws and administer TB tests</li>\n <li>Count and track narcotics every shift</li>\n <li>Communicate medical information to the Treatment Team and Psychiatrist</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum age of 21</li>\n <li>Valid Montana driver’s license with a clean driving record</li>\n <li>Active LPN license in the State of Montana</li>\n <li>Ability to pass a Montana State background check</li>\n <li>Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification</li>\n <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li>\n <li>Proficient in medical terminology, charting, and medication administration</li>\n <li>Skilled in using standard nursing tools and assessing physical conditions</li>\n <li>Familiar with word processing software and basic network navigation</li>\n <li>Experience or knowledge of health insurance submission processes. </li>\n <li>Skill in assessing the physical condition of the clients</li>\n <li>Skill in communicating medical situations accurately to students, parents, and staff</li>\n <li>Willingness to receive professional feedback and pursue ongoing training</li>\n <li>CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</strong> – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Parental Leave</strong> – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.</li>\n <li><strong>Life & Disability Coverage</strong> – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.</li>\n <li><strong>401(k) with Company Match</strong> – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.</li>\n <li><strong>PTO & Holidays</strong> – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.</li>\n <li><strong>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</strong> – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Chrysalis is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
