Join us in our efforts to maintain the highest quality of plant and turf for our residential customers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Providing top notched customer service to our customers by meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.</li><li>Performing applications to our customers’ turf, shrubs, and/or ornamental trees as needed.</li><li>Applications will consist of both granular and liquid herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, fertilizers, etc.</li><li>Monitor accounts and make applications for all problems related to insects, diseases, fungi or weed infestation.</li><li>Evaluate progress and make future recommendations for control. Keep journals/logs to ensure timely and efficient follow up.</li><li>Mixing chemicals and maintaining accuracy and safety.</li><li>Operate and maintain all equipment including company vehicle, sprayers, and spreaders.</li><li>Actively contributes to achieving performance goals in job quality, efficiency, safety, and customer service.</li><li>We cross train between Lawn and PHC so technicians can support in either area when needed but they are usually hired to focus on one or the other.</li><li>Support other departments when needed.</li></ul>",

We will provide training, but are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Outstanding customer service and time management skills.</li><li>Experience working in the landscape, lawn, or PHC field a plus but not required.</li><li>Illinois Pesticide General Standards license (you can study and sit for the exams after joining our team, license is required within 3 months of hire).</li><li>Mechanically inclined.</li><li>Be able to lift 75 to 100 lbs. and walk for long distance on sloped or uneven grounds.</li><li>PC and iPhone familiarity.</li><li>Have and maintain a current driver’s license with a clean record</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Pay & Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>We have seasonal opportunities based out of our North Chicago, IL (near Waukegan) facility with the schedule being from approximately March 1st - December 15th.</li><li>Working hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays in the Spring.</li><li>Pay will be based on your experience, skills and abilities.</li><li>If hired, you’ll be eligible for a $1000 signing bonus.</li><li>Benefits include sick pay and product discounts.</li></ul>",
