    "description": "<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The CNC Supervisor will oversee machine production and apply knowledge of mechanics to product quality precision parts. The Supervisor will also develop new CNC programs for production runs or modify existing programs for different machines. During the manufacturing process, the Supervisor will perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Develop CNC programs for production runs</li>\r\n\t<li>Modify existing programs for different machines</li>\r\n\t<li>Directly supervise employees and work directly with management.</li>\r\n\t<li>Carry out daily operations in production when manager is not available.</li>\r\n\t<li>Train employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs</li>\r\n\t<li>Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening</li>\r\n\t<li>Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints</li>\r\n\t<li>Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications</li>\r\n\t<li>Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly. Reports maintenance issues to manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensures operators understand and meet all quality expectations for their specific job.</li>\r\n\t<li>Working from production schedule and lead machinists in daily work activities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Organize and plan; make efficient use of time and schedule product flow.</li>\r\n\t<li>Scheduling: Manpower requirements, effective planning of lead time and maintenance to insure completion of production schedule.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure housekeeping is maintained.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure that employees have tools and resources necessary to be successful.</li>\r\n\t<li>Set hourly/daily performance targets and hold operators responsible for meeting those targets.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain employee relations, working with other managers and supervisors.</li>\r\n\t<li>Focus on safety issues throughout the shop and train new employees in safety procedures in their work area.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
