Each year, for three weeks in the late summer, the US Open is the focus of the sports & entertainment universe. With more than 1 Million on-site visitors, 224 million television viewers worldwide, close to 40 million online visits and more than 3 billion social media engagements in 2025, why not come and enjoy the thrill and excitement of working with our team?
The Role
Must be available to work from the Purchase, NY office from May–August and at the National Tennis Center in Queens from August–September 14, 2026. Must be available on-site every day from August 23–September 14.
Assist with the media application process for both traditional media and the US Open Content Creator Program
Review applications and utilize USTA AI program to gather detailed information on applicants
Assist with approving and processing applications
Assist with writing and producing Media Operations Guides
Assist with publishing content on the US Open Media Only Website
Assist with pre-tournament press events & activations
Assist with set-up of US Open Media Center
USTA Communications Staff Office
Manage the front desk during the US Open
Provide general information to members of the media
Manage press seat allocation
Assist with daily clip process as needed
Assist with in-tournament special events
Who You Are
Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using basic office technology (e.g., spreadsheets, email, online systems) for tracking assignments.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and assist high-profile clients with professionalism.
Availability to work the full duration of the tournament, including weekends, evenings, and extended hours.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $20.00.
Daily Meal Allowance: A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday during the US Open, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.
