This includes dependants.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION SUMMARY<br></span>The Production and Quality Assurance Specialist position focuses on the quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies.  The position involves the day-to-day operations of the Quality team which includes the quality inspection of parts. Communication with customers on non-conforming materials, scanning new parts to meet customer specifications.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<br>Reasonable Accommodations Statement </span></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions Statements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and hands-on operation of Quality Assurance equipment and methodology.</li>\n<li>Knowledge and hands-on operation of metal fabrication machinery, especially metal forming with hydraulic presses and welding equipment.</li>\n<li>Inspect parts to assure they meet quality and environmental standards and expectations of the customer.</li>\n<li>Partner with Project Management team to ensure reliable and timely executed APQP and PPAP process.</li>\n<li>Ensure PPAP capability that meets or exceed all industry and customer requirements.</li>\n<li>Ensure timely submission of PPAPs to customers.</li>\n<li>Conduct quality measurements and complete customer documentation prior to series production and delivery to customers.</li>\n<li>Ensure that quality capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements.</li>\n<li>Abide by IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards at all times.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with customers providing assistance and responding to inquiries.</li>\n<li>Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span>     </p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Degree or equivalent and/or related experience required.</li>\n<li>Associates Degree from an accredited Quality Assurance program preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:     </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance position.</li>\n<li>Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.</li>\n<li>A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing skills preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to coordinate 3 Dimensional Coordinate Measuring and 2 Dimensional CAD experience preferred.  </li>\n<li>Previous experience in manufacturing;
