As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Production Scheduler</strong> to join the team with Barrios, a teammate company.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Production Scheduler</strong> will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for production and processing services ensuring alignment with program milestones and on-time deliveries.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed production schedules across the EVA (Extravehicular Activity) program.</li>\n <li>Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership</li>\n <li>Serve as the planning focal for program hardware builds, from procurement through delivery.</li>\n <li>Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with department supervisors to monitor production progress and completion dates</li>\n <li>Own capacity planning, make/buy decisions, and scenario modeling to inform critical path strategies.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with leadership to optimize build sequencing and resource allocation.</li>\n <li>Track production KPIs, generate dashboards, and deliver planning insights.</li>\n <li>Analyze production data to optimize lead times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.</li>\n <li>Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.</li>\n <li>Perform additional job duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education/Experience/Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a field or in a related area.</li>\n <li>Experience in manufacturing, assembly and testing of critical hardware.</li>\n <li>Ten (10) years of production planning or project management experience using Microsoft Project, preferably in the aerospace field.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed scheduling decisions.</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail</li>\n <li>Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results.​</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferences:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A resilient and proactive approach to problem solving</li>\n <li>Passion for space and the mission</li>\n <li>Entrepreneurial, growth mindset</li>\n <li>High EQ and ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally​ </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.</li>\n <li>Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.</li>\n <li>Work may involve sitting for extended periods.</li>\n <li>May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.</li>\n <li>Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.</li>\n <li>Generally, an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.</li>\n <li>Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)</li>\n <li>Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.</li>\n <li>Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.</li>\n <li>Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.</li>\n <li>Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.</li>\n <li>This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong><em>Don’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now!</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Barrios Technology is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies.
