Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a results-driven <strong>Manufacturing Demand Planning Manager</strong> to lead our demand planning and forecasting function at our site in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  This role, reporting to the Site Leader is a member of the site senior leadership team and responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving optimal inventory and production planning strategies. The ideal candidate will combine analytical expertise with strong leadership skills to support business growth while maintaining operational efficiency.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain short- and long-term  master schedule/production plan using statistical models and market intelligence</li>\n <li>Lead the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) by preparing data, analyzing gaps, and presenting recommendations to leadership</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Production teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives</li>\n <li>Analyze historical data, trends, and external factors to improve master schedule/production plan accuracy and reduce variability</li>\n <li>Translate master schedule into actioable production and inventory plans in partnership with manufacturing teams</li>\n <li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as master schedule/production plan accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels</li>\n <li>Identify and mitigate risks related to supply-demand imbalances</li>\n <li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, tools, and systems</li>\n <li>Ensure data integrity and effective use of ERP/other planning systems</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (required)</li>\n <li>5-7 years of relevant manufacturing experience in purchading, planning, scheduling, and SIOP</li>\n <li>APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) required</li>\n <li>Strong expertise in ERP/MRP systems and SIOP planning processes</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to develop and execute departmental production schedules</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, BOMs, routings, and capacity management</li>\n <li>Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Effective communication with shop-floor teams and senior leadership</li>\n <li>Results-driven mindset commensurate with a salaried, professional role</li>\n <li>Prioe experience supporting two or more manufacturing sites preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Morgan Advanced Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
