This position must have a proven ability to work as a team player and leader in a fast-paced environment. The Server must be well organized and creative and possess superior communication and interpersonal skills, and must possess the ability to display a passion for excellent customer service while working in an energetic and dynamic environment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Serves guests food and drink while following Red Deer Resort &amp; Casino policies and procedures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Report any areas that require maintenance or other attention to the supervisor on shift </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain all compliance with the Health and Safety requirements of the hotel</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate with other team members and areas of the hotel when required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To have a complete menu and product knowledge and be able to assist guests with any dietary concerns and explain daily features with confidence</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Have basic knowledge of alcoholic and beverage recipes; basic bartending skills may be required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service and attend to complaints</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Order necessary outlet supplies using the specific requisitions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clean agreed designated areas in accordance with laid down procedures and routine hygiene requirements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Accept payments, be responsible for cash outs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Come to work in full uniform, follow Alberta liquor and gaming laws</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs other related duties as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Education, Qualification and Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Reel Facts and ProServe Certifications (through AGLC)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be over 18 years of age.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clear criminal record check required upon hire</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Mature and professional appearance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The ability to work well under pressure and be detail-oriented</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong work ethic and positive team attitude</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels; both inside and outside of the organization</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be fluent in English, both written and oral</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Standard First Aid with CPR &amp; AED certification is an asset</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work Environment</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Able to stand and repeatedly walk over the course of a shift</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to tolerate exposures to heat, cold, water and noisy environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">While performing the duties of this job, there may be stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching and crouching</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Hours of Work</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The hours of work for this position will vary depending on operational requirements but will include day, evening and late night, as well as weekends and holidays.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Ready to join our dynamic team and create extraordinary dining experiences?
