Let our craftsmen create the metal products you need.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview: </span>This is an entry-level position in our sheet metal shop making our quality duct systems. You’ll work with some of the most talented metal workers in our area. Come join our growing team!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Make heating, ventilation, and air conditioning duct systems, roofs, siding, rain gutters, downspouts, and many other products from metal sheets<br></li>\n<li><br>Study plans and specs to determine the kind and quality of materials needed for various projects</li>\n<li><br>Measure, cut, bend, shape, and fasten pieces of sheet metal to make ductwork and other custom products<br></li>\n<li><br>Cut, drill, and form parts with computer-controlled lasers, shears, and brakes</li>\n<li><br>Use power tools and heavy machinery to complete projects</li>\n<li><br>Inspect finished products for accuracy</li>\n<li><br>Follow all safety protocols, and maintain and operate machines to manufacturer’s specifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Strong attention to detail</li>\n<li><br>Able to lift and carry more than 50 lbs. on a regular basis<br></li>\n<li><br>Perform job duties while standing for prolonged periods of time</li>\n<li><br>Must have mechanical and mathematical aptitude</li>\n<li><br>Must have good hand-eye coordination</li>\n<li><br>Requires the ability to use a phone and tablet to input data, such a timecard information, emails, etc.</li>\n<li><br>Bilingual (Spanish) a plus for this role</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Location:</span> 218 East Lathrop Avenue, Savannah, GA 31415</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Environment:</span> Most work is completed in a limited-climate-controlled shop</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>Starting at $20/hour</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits: </span>Delta Metals has a generous benefits package to include Medical, dental vision, life, long and short term disability, as well as accident, cancer, and critical illness plans, HSA, 401K, Vacation &amp; sick time, and 6 paid company holidays.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>It is the policy of Delta Metals, Inc. not to discriminate against any applicant for employment, or any employee because of age, color, sex, disability, national origin, race, religion, or veteran status.</em></p>\n<p><br></p>",
