With over 10,000 video systems under management worldwide &ndash; more than any other video communications service provider &ndash; Yorktel has the proven expertise and global reach to deliver enterprise-quality visual communications.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Yorktel is currently seeking a Fabrication Technician responsible for building, populating, wiring, and terminating equipment racks for high end Audio Visual and Videoconferencing facilities. Further, the Fabrication Technician will work with the Commissioning Engineering Team to stage, test, troubleshoot, and prep systems for shipping. The Fabrication Technician is responsible for meeting project commitments from a technical standpoint.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><ins>Responsibilities:</ins></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Regularly communicate with internal and external customers to achieve mutually desirable outcomes.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to internal parties and customers regarding concerns or issues.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ensure resolution of problems by working closely with assigned projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Communicate answers to complex questions and respond to detailed inquiries about fabrication issues.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Handle and protect all internal and external confidential information, utilizing discretion and judgment based on company policies and procedures.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ensure equipment racks are built, connected, and tested according to engineering drawings.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Red-line engineering drawings to match fabrication adjustments.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist in the quality testing of equipment prior to dispatch to the field.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide leadership to junior employees through quality workmanship.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead multiple personnel throughout large-scale fabrication efforts.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform cable dressing inside of racks.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><ins>Technical Responsibilities:</ins></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Experience in the following areas is required: Audio Visual Solutions including Videoconferencing, Multimedia, Distance Learning, Facility coordination or Networking systems.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Extensive use of business computer systems including Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Working knowledge of DSP devices &ndash; Clear One / Vortex / Biamp &ndash; would be desirable but not necessary.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Working knowledge of Control Systems &ndash;
