Description

Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team. This position plays a key role in delivering cabinetry, vanities, and related materials safely and efficiently to residential job sites, commercial projects, and company locations using a 26ft box truck. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, customer-service oriented, and willing to assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are complete. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 26ft box truck for scheduled local and regional deliveries Load, unload, secure, and protect products to prevent damage during transport Verify orders and delivery documentation for accuracy Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, installers, and internal team members Assist warehouse personnel with staging, receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse duties as needed Follow all company safety procedures, DOT regulations, and traffic laws Report delivery issues, damages, or vehicle maintenance concerns promptly Qualifications Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Experience operating a 26ft box truck required DOT Medical Card preferred or ability to obtain Experience handling cabinetry or building materials preferred Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials on a regular basis Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
