Your duties involve using relay test equipment and tools to test different types of relays inside the electrical substation.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to drive daily locally/regionally and be available for periodic overnight travel.</li>\n <li>Perform entry level testing relaying equipment.</li>\n <li>Implement safety policies.</li>\n <li>Read, understand One-line, three-line, AC/DC Drawings</li>\n <li>Develop relay macros and testing routines with confirmation of proper protection and control design EPS and customer specifications.</li>\n <li>Build test plans for Overcurrent, Transformer, Bus Diff, & Distance Relay</li>\n <li>Understand the Logic Gates and Boolean Algebra</li>\n <li>Identify Polarity, Phasing, & Vectors</li>\n <li>Examine Different Operating Schemes</li>\n <li>Assist End to End testing</li>\n <li>Support Functional testing and Troubleshooting.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen due to this being a safety sensitive position.</li>\n <li>Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.</li>\n <li>Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.</li>\n <li>Hands on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in transmission, generation or distribution level substations.</li>\n <li>Capable of troubleshooting distribution and transmission controls circuits.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of relay test software.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills/Abilities:</strong><strong>   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Experience installing, maintaining, testing, or repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, or similar equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred</li>\n <li>NETA certified a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EPS is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, disability, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity and sexual orientation), political affiliation, military service, national origin, age or any other characteristics protected by state or federal laws.  </strong></p>\n<p><strong>  </strong></p>\n<p><strong>EPS does not work with individual recruiters or third-party recruiting agencies and will not recognize claims to any unsolicited resumes or candidate information. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#PoweringTheFuture</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>",
