In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>University Radiology Group is looking for full time <strong>Breast Biopsy/Mammography Technologist</strong> for our <strong>East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates and maintains all diagnostic, stereotactic and vacuum assisted equipment to perform breast biopsy procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintains required QC documentation for MQSA and ACR including renewal applications and breast pathology correlation.</li>\n <li>Has capable knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the procedures performed.</li>\n <li>Maintains knowledge of procedure protocols required to assist the radiologist in performing breast biopsy procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintains required number of mammograms and CME's per MQSA standards.</li>\n <li>Knows the application and location of supply items in department. Maintains stock of department supplies.</li>\n <li>Understands and applies skills to locate patient images for procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensures specimens and associated pathology are handled per protocol.</li>\n <li>May require lifting patients for proper placement onto examination table.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with Breast Biopsy Team to schedule and consent exams.</li>\n <li>Completes all mandatory URG in-service classes annually.</li>\n <li>Assists in training staff as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Mon-Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>ARRT(R) (M) required</li>\n <li>3+ years of current experience, including stereotactic biopsy procedures.</li>\n <li>NJ State License and CPR Certification require</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>University Radiology offers a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental and life insurance, 401k/pension, and profit-sharing plans, generous paid time off policy and more. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Range:</h2>\n<p>From $40/hr</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience.
