Then you are in the right place&hellip;start the application process today!</p><p><strong><u>Summary of Position Functions</u></strong><br>&nbsp;<br>The Foreman II - HVAC is a skilled intermediate supervising position in directing the installation, modification, and repair of HVAC/Plumbing related systems, equipment, and in commercial, industrial environments, and also includes fabrication.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Position Functions<br></u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manages mid-size projects in conjunction with field operations and completes projects timely including planning, labor needs, laying out, participating in, and supervising work on job sites and / or in the shop.</li><li>Manages project scope, daily reports, jobsite documentation, and T&amp;M and other field generated changes.</li><li>Completes daily hazard prevention plans, facilitates weekly safety meetings, stops work that is unsafe, reports safety incidents, and follows PTP and company safety standards.</li><li>Responsible for providing direction on layout, installation standards, means and methods, and addressing quality issues to ensure quality control.</li><li>Manages safety equipment, material ordering, site storage, staging, laydown, tools, and material deliveries needed to complete assigned project(s).</li><li>Coordinates the project start-up with tech / crew.</li><li>Manages timekeeping records for jobsite crew.</li><li>Attends trade meetings on the jobsite(s).</li><li>Provides mentoring of installers and apprentices on assigned projects.</li></ul><p>Note: &nbsp;The statements contained herein describe the essential functions of this position but should not be an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Veregy&rsquo;s policies and applicable laws. &nbsp;Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Education and Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. &nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to two (2) years of experience as a Foreman; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Must have a minimum of OSHA 30-hour training.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency and familiarity with use of proper hand and power tools and operation of related equipment including platform lifts, forklifts, backhoes, and excavators.</li><li>Must be able to satisfactorily pass and meet security clearance requirements, background checks and / or other identification processes for client work of particular or confidential nature or as may be required by the company.</li><li>Must comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes, regulations, and procedural requirements mandated by work performed that is of a qualified, defined safety sensitive nature.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work is performed under general direction of an administrative superior and is subject to periodic review.</li><li>Knowledge (beginning to intermediate) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.), may be required.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. &nbsp;Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
