You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Take accountability for development of project implementation plans</li>\n <li>Supervise and provide guidance to project staff in all matters involving written and verbal communication</li>\n <li>Communicate information at multiple levels within the client’s organization</li>\n <li>Serve as the direct point of contact for the client</li>\n <li>Facilitate project meetings, formal and informal, with the owner, design team, vendors, etc.</li>\n <li>Work closely with vendors to furnish and outfit spaces in alignment with project requirements</li>\n <li>Oversee and support onsite move activities, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption</li>\n <li>Prepare project teams and staff for office/space relocations and moves</li>\n <li>Operate with a high level of independence, serving as the local point of contact while collaborating with remote team members</li>\n <li>Establish project protocols for project specific types of documentation</li>\n <li>Implement the Furniture, Fixture and Equipment plan</li>\n <li>Plan and implement competitive procurements as required</li>\n <li>Prepare project monthly reports including costs, schedule, safety, etc.</li>\n <li>Monitor adherence to the contract</li>\n <li>Conduct performance reviews for direct reports</li>\n <li>Assert the authority and decision making required for managing the assigned project or project task</li>\n <li>Gain exposure to financial project management and accountability</li>\n <li>Provide direction to sub-contractors as required and consistent with the client’s direction</li>\n <li>Act as owner’s representative in managing onsite vendors during activation and move timeframes</li>\n <li>Coaches and mentors less experienced team members </li>\n <li>Supports a positive and inclusive work environment </li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS or MS degree in related field</li>\n <li>3-7 years of project management or specialized experience</li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel Powerpoint, Project, Access, and Visio)</li>\n <li>Excellent listening skills</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Construction document and drawing literate with knowledge of all phases of construction</li>\n <li>Knowledge of BIM360, CADD, Bluebeam</li>\n <li>Detailed knowledge of at least one TPM market sector, such as healthcare, government/military, research and development/laboratory, or higher education</li>\n <li>Ability to travel and flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<p>***The initial project is located in Milwaukee, WI; however, future assignments may require up to 60% travel.***</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.</p>\n<p>For Milwaukee this ranges from $75,000.00-$90,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
